So I'm back! Had an absolutely fab weekend of which I won't post much detail since far more articulate and organised people than me surely will.

It was a great con, but from a purely photographic POV, I didn't like it as much as the Rift (See Rift pics, being better). The light wasn't as good, and also because the guests were seated a lot of the time, there wasn't as much movement, and consequentially the pics were a bit less interesting.

There was a lot more kissing though.

Anyway. Shut up. Pictures.

These are from the big group Q&A, though I only got Gareth and John since Kai and Naoko were hiding behind a curtain. John's laugh - seriously. It's a national treasure all on its own.







Naoko can ramble a bit and lose track when she answers questions... so the guys are mean to her. Naoko is awesome - everyone else rips the piss out of her something chronic, but she's so cool, and gives it back in this quiet little way.

Someone asked the panel what their ideal christmas present would be. For some reason everybody seemed to be directing their requests (mostly for porsches) at John - prompting Gareth to hop on his knee.

Someone asked what was their favourite part of their body. They're actually trying to show us their legs. Kai is blurry but I couldn't leave him out.

I just love Naoko's face. She says she has to put up with this all the time, and to her it's just white noise now. To which Gareth responds "Racist."

The question asked was whether any of the cast have had to have therapy to help them overcome working with JB. Gareth says there are times with Barrowman when you just have to relax and close your eyes. He does so, at quite some length, complete with sound effects.

I have to say though, much as I love taking me snaps and meeting the stars, what really makes Torchwood cons so fun are the fabulous, friendly, funny and intelligent people I get to meet and hang out with.

Seriously, I've said this so many times over the weekend, but I love this fandom so much. I went to this con on my own, but I was never short of someone to chat with. I'd name check everyone, but I'm terrified of missing someone out and offending them - but I do have to specially thank valderys for the use of her floor, purplephoenix03 for PRINGLES, blackbird_song for lunch, and marvola for being lovely. And a special hurrah for absinthefairy88 for making it. What a weekend.

I'd also like to formally both thank and apologise to all the people I was dancing with, and indeed near, on saturday night.
